Hey guys! We wanted to do something interesting for everyone to help ward off the cabin fever that comes with self-isolation. After some thought (and some shenanigans with our resident D.Va figma), we decided that a fun thing to do would be a figure photography contest! The contest is simple: post a picture of your figurine(s) and tag us on Instagram @chibis_anime_ using the hashtag #chibisfigurephotos to be entered in a draw to win your choice of a full stamp card (that's 10% off your entire next purchase) or a $10 gift card! A second "Chibi's Choice" prize (the same prize selection) will also be given out to a photo selected by the Chibi's Anime staff.

Another prize option is now available, courtesy of the Okanagan Gunpla Society! The winners are now able to choose two months FREE on an OGS Membership! Rules of entry:
- Your photo can be a staged photo (like our sample above), or it can be a photo of your collection/favourite figurine.
- While we're calling it a "Figure Photography Contest," you are welcome to include other items in the photos. Photos can feature plushies, key chains, models, etc. As long as the content is anime/video game related, all entries are welcome!
- Photos must be family friendly. If we believe your entry is inappropriate, you will be immediately disqualified. Inappropriate photos include, but are not limited to, suggestive or sexual content/imagery, nudity, and graphic images (such as blood/gore). Please make sure all language used in your submission is also family friendly (this is supposed to be a fun event, so let's leave the cursing out of it!).
- Photo editing software is allowed (you can be as subtle or outrageous as you wish!)
- All figures, plushies, etc. used in photos must be fully licensed. Any photos featuring bootleg or unlicensed merchandise will be immediately disqualified. However, homemade props and accessories are allowed and encouraged! Figures that have been repainted/customized are also allowed.
- The rules of social distancing must be followed. Please do not take any photos in public/currently off-limit places such as grocery stores or playgrounds. We encourage you to use items that you already have at home.
- Entries will be accepted until 11:59 pm PDT on Thursday, May 7. The winner will be drawn and notified via social media on May 8.
- Limit of one entry per person (although you are welcome to post as many pictures as you want!)
- No purchase necessary. The items used in your photos do not have to have been purchased at Chibi's Anime (although we appreciate any that were!).
- The Chibi's Choice prize will be based on the favourite photo as chosen by the staff. Things such as photography skill, set building, quality of props used, etc. may be taken into consideration during selection, but are not requirements and will not be the basis of the decision.
- All entries will be posted on our website and Facebook pages unless requested otherwise.
- All prizes must be picked up in person after the rules around social distancing have been lifted.
- If you are under the age of 19, please make sure you have parental approval before entering.
- You must be following us on Instagram to enter.
